Zeekr Unveils Updated 001 Electric Car Ahead of October Launch
Zeekr has revealed an updated version of its electric car, the Zeekr 001, ahead of its official sales launch on October 11. This is the third update to the model since its 2021 debut. The car is already on display at local dealerships.
The interior of the updated Zeekr 001 boasts an impressive 16-inch central touchscreen display with 3.5K resolution and a 39.3-inch AR-HUD projection display. The car's autonomous driving system has been enhanced with the G-Pilot H7 on the Nvidia Thor-U chip, offering a powerful 700 TOPS of computing power.
Externally, the car retains its previous design but sports new wheels and an improved LiDAR sensor on the roof. The Zeekr 001 comes in two powertrain options: rear-wheel-drive with 503 horsepower and all-wheel-drive with a combined 925 horsepower. The range varies from 640 to 810 kilometers, depending on the traction battery and drive type.
Customers in China can book the updated Zeekr 001 by paying a deposit of 2000 yuan. The car features a two-chamber pneumatic suspension with an 85-millimeter height adjustment range. Developed by Zeekr, a subsidiary of the Geely group, this update promises to enhance the driving experience and performance of the electric car.
