Willo's Revenue Surges 64x as Recruitment Tech Startup Eyes US Expansion

Willo, a Glasgow-based recruitment tech startup, has announced impressive growth and expansion plans. Since its launch in 2020, the company has seen a remarkable 64x increase in revenue, with a further 70% surge in 2025. This success has been bolstered by a £3 million ($4 million) investment led by cybersecurity giant Mimecast's founder, Peter Bauer.

Willo's expansion strategy is set to accelerate with the opening of new East Coast headquarters in Austin, Texas, and Chicago, Illinois. This move is driven by the company's growing presence in North America, where over 50% of its revenue already originates. The new funding will support this expansion, enabling Willo to hire more talent across both the UK and US.

Founded by Scottish entrepreneurs Euan Cameron, Andrew Wood, and Hamish Livingston, Willo has already made a significant impact globally. It works with major employers such as Toyota, Samsung, DPD Group, and the NHS, operating in 195 countries. The company's innovative product, Willo Verified Profiles, automatically verifies candidate credentials, providing a solution to the growing issue of AI-generated job applications.

With total investment now standing at £5.9 million ($8 million), Willo's future looks promising. The company's impressive growth trajectory, innovative product offerings, and strategic expansion plans position it well to continue disrupting the recruitment technology sector.
