WhatsApp Launches New Translation Feature for Seamless Cross-Language Chats
WhatsApp has launched a new translation feature, now available on both Android and iOS. This tool aims to break down language barriers in chats, making communication easier than ever.
The feature, currently being rolled out gradually, allows automatic translation of chats on Android devices. When a message in a foreign language is detected, a 'translate' icon appears, enabling single-tap translation.
Initially, the feature supports six languages on Android, including English, Spanish, Hindi, Portuguese, Russian, and Arabic. On iPhone, it supports 19 languages, including German. More languages, such as French, Turkish, and Chinese, will be added soon.
WhatsApp's new translation feature is set to eliminate the need for separate translation apps, making cross-language communication more seamless. The feature is being introduced gradually and will expand its language support over time.
