Wesel Police Offers Free E-bike & Pedelec Training & Coding This Fall
The Wesel Police Department is offering a unique opportunity for E-bike and Pedelec users this fall. Participants can now have their vehicles coded and attend free coding training sessions to enhance their riding skills and safety.
The coding initiative allows owners to bring their purchase documents to have their Pedelecs coded, providing an extra layer of security. The free coding training sessions, lasting approximately three hours, consist of a theoretical introduction, a Pedelec simulator reaction test, and a practical training session using participants' own vehicles.
The sessions are scheduled to take place in various locations across the region, including Xanten, Moers, Schermbeck, Dinslaken, Wesel, Alpen, and Hamminkeln, from October 13 to October 24, 2025, between 09:00 and 12:00. Registration is mandatory and can be done via phone (0281 / 107 - 7777) or email ([email protected]).
Led by Police Chief Commissioner Henner Störmer, the Wesel Police Department encourages all E-bike and Pedelec users to take advantage of this opportunity to improve their riding skills, safety, and security. The coding initiative and training sessions aim to create a safer and more enjoyable riding experience for all participants.
