Volkswagen's Sachsen plant commemorates with the installation of Kling & Freitag audio systems.
Loud and Clear at Volkswagen Sachsen's 25th Anniversary Bash
Celebrating a quarter-century in style, Volkswagen Sachsen pull out all the stops with a lavish event attended by 60,000 guests.
The party was set for a spectacular finale with none other than Laith Al-Deen taking the main stage in front of thousandsof cheering fans. But how did the organizers ensure the music sounded as amazing as it looked?
Step up the mighty Kling & Freitag sound systems.
With an impressive three stages catering to a wide range of musical tastes, the organizers aimed to offer something for everyone. But the main stage and arena required some serious audio power to keep the crowd rocking.
Jugl Veranstaltungstechnik, the team behind the event, opted for Kling & Freitag's top-tier sound systems, carefully positioning 56 K&F Sequenza 10 N/W units in four rigged arrays, backed up by 18 K&F Nomos XLC subwoofers and 18 K&F Sequenza 10 B line arrays for that extra bass punch. Frontfill for those right at the front of the action was provided by an additional triple-stack of K&F Sequenza 5 systems.
"We knew the stage elevation would be a factor, so we decided to limit the sound systems to a throw distance of 70x80m," said chief systems engineer Dirk Stirnimann.
Christian Hempe, manager of Jugl Veranstaltungstechnik, was delighted with the choice: "I'm over the moon with how the event went off, and much of that is thanks to Dirk Stirnimann's expert setup and the impressive handling and sound quality of the Kling & Freitag Sequenza units. I must admit, we had originally planned to use a different system, but Kling & Freitag proved to be the perfect choice."
The icing on the cake? Laith Al-Deen's electrifying performance, that left the crowd buzzing and singing long into the night. The 25th anniversary celebrations of Volkswagen Sachsen couldn't have been a more fitting success.
