Vega Chargers Expands to Latin America, Unveils 600kW Constellation Charger

Spanish company Vega Chargers, renowned for its fast charging stations, is set to expand into Latin America. The company aims to cover markets from Mexico to Chile, initially focusing on key regions like Mexico, Colombia, Chile, the Dominican Republic, Peru, Argentina, and Brazil. The first two stations are expected to launch in Spain by June.

Vega Chargers' expansion comes after successful growth in Europe. The company anticipates a surge in demand for direct current chargers in Latin America, driven by its diverse geography. The company's flagship product, the High Power Charging Constellation, is poised to revolutionize electromobility in the region. This advanced charger offers an external power unit of 600 kilowatts and dynamic balancing for efficient, faster charging.

The Constellation will debut at the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona in late February, after which it will be available to the general market. Vega Chargers is prepared to develop and support four types of charging technologies, including CCS2, CHAdeMO, GBT, and NACS, to cater to the diverse market needs.

Vega Chargers' first charging points in Latin America are expected to be inaugurated by the end of the year. The company's ambitious expansion plans aim to provide efficient charging solutions across the region, supporting the growth of electric vehicles in Latin America.
