USF Warns of Suspicious Man Recording Women on Campus
The University of San Francisco's Department of Public Safety has issued a warning about a suspicious man recording women on campus. Students are urged to report any encounters with the individual, who has been seen wearing Ray-Ban Meta sunglasses capable of recording videos.
The man's behavior has been described as 'suspicious', with multiple women reporting uncomfortable encounters. He has approached them with unwanted comments and inappropriate dating questions. It is believed he may be posting these interactions on his TikTok and Instagram pages under the username 'pickuplines.pov'.
The Department of Public Safety has advised students who see themselves or others on the stranger's social media accounts to report it immediately. The man is known to use his Ray-Ban Meta sunglasses to record videos, either by voice command or pressing a button on the frame. The last known sighting was reported on September 20, 2023.
Students are reminded to stay vigilant and report any suspicious behavior to public safety officers. The University of San Francisco is committed to maintaining a safe campus environment and encourages everyone to look out for one another.
