The tech world is abuzz with excitement as Google prepares to launch its latest offering, the Pixel 10 Pro XL. Scheduled to debut on August 20, this highly anticipated device is set to redefine smartphone technology.

The Pixel 10 Pro XL boasts a 6.8-inch OLED display with a blazing-fast 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive peak brightness of up to 3200 nits. This state-of-the-art screen is expected to deliver stunning visuals and a seamless user experience.

Under the hood, the Pixel 10 Pro XL is powered by Google's new Tensor G5 chipset, manufactured by TSMC, promising improved performance and efficiency. The device will come equipped with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options ranging from 256 GB to a whopping 1 TB.

In the photography department, the Pixel 10 Pro XL impresses with a triple rear camera setup. The main sensor is a 50 MP powerhouse, accompanied by a 48 MP ultrawide and a 48 MP telephoto lens. This setup supports up to 100x zoom and is capable of recording 8K video. The front camera is a high-resolution 42 MP sensor, perfect for selfies and video calls.

The Pixel 10 Pro XL is expected to house a 5,200 mAh battery, supporting fast wired charging up to 39W and Qi2 wireless charging. The device will run on Android 16 out of the box and will promise 7 years of software updates.

Regarding pricing, the Pixel 10 Pro XL is expected to start at around €1,299 (~$1,199) for the base 256 GB model, a slight increase from earlier estimates but matching the better storage tier.

Leaked renders suggest the Pixel 10 Pro XL will come in two initial colour options: Moonstone and Obsidian. However, it's worth noting that the device's launch date is different from its expected sale date, which is August 28.

Additional notes include Google's switch to the TSMC-manufactured Tensor G5 chip for better performance and efficiency, high PWM dimming frequency (480Hz) for comfort, and new colour options like Porcelain, Jade, and Moonstone.
