X Motor, a leading electric vehicle manufacturer, has made a significant stride in the Chinese market. Last week, the company's extended-range electric vehicle (EREV), the X9, entered China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's regulatory filing catalog.

The X9 is X Motor's first super hybrid model, marking a new chapter in the company's electric vehicle journey. X Motor has invested heavily in the development of the X9, testing over 1,000 vehicles to ensure its quality and reliability.

According to X Motor's CEO, Mr. He, the X9 is designed with a focus on reliability, aiming to offer a 7-seat family car that delivers both performance and peace of mind. The X9 is slightly longer than the all-electric X9, providing more space for passengers and cargo.

The X9 will be equipped with the Kunpeng Super Electric System, an extended-range system that promises a combined range of up to 1,400 kilometers. The X9's battery range is not yet officially announced, but suggestions from a photo indicate a range of 450 kilometers.

Testing for the X9 has been extensive, covering 20 countries and 330 cities. The vehicle's development process spanned over 800 days, demonstrating X Motor's commitment to producing a high-quality product.

Investors have shown confidence in X Motor, with the company's shares surging by 7.94 percent in Hong Kong trading. The X9 is set to officially launch in the fourth quarter of the year, and with its promising features, it's expected to be a game-changer in the electric vehicle market.

It's worth noting that X Motor currently offers the X9 in an all-electric version, priced between RMB 359,800 ($50,090) and RMB 419,800, making it the company's most expensive model. With the introduction of the X9 EREV, X Motor plans to release at least 5 EREV models in the future.

Stay tuned for more updates on the X9 EREV's official launch and its impact on the electric vehicle market.
