TrinaTracker Achieves Major Sustainability Milestone with PCF Certification for Vanguard 2P
TrinaTracker has achieved a significant milestone in sustainability, obtaining Product Carbon Footprint Certification (PCF) for its Vanguard 2P tracker. This certification, conducted in accordance with ISO 14067:2018, covers the full 'cradle-to-gate' lifecycle, demonstrating TrinaTracker's commitment to reducing its environmental impact.
The PCF certification for Vanguard 2P follows a successful reduction in greenhouse gas emissions for the Vanguard 1P tracker, which saw a more than 10% decrease within a year. TrinaTracker received these certifications from Bureau Veritas, an independent institution, further validating the company's efforts.
TrinaTracker's dedication to sustainability extends beyond its trackers. The company's Vertex N modules and Elementa 2 have also earned carbon footprint and lifecycle certifications. Moreover, multiple production bases have been recognized as 'Green Factories', reflecting TrinaTracker's comprehensive approach to environmental responsibility. The company's strategies include design refinements and enhanced manufacturing processes, contributing to its overall reduction in carbon footprints.
With the entire Vanguard series now independently verified for its carbon footprint performance, TrinaTracker continues to support the global transition to net zero. The company's commitment to integrating carbon reduction measures and working with partners to advance sustainability across the PV value chain ensures a credible and transparent path towards a more sustainable future.
