Toyota Innova Hycross Achieves First-Ever 5-Star Safety Rating for MPV in India
Toyota's latest offering, the Innova Hycross, has excelled in safety, earning a 5-star rating for both adult and child occupant protection in Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (Bharat NCAP) tests. This is a first for a Toyota model and a Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) in India. The Innova Hycross, produced by the renowned automaker Toyota, achieved this remarkable feat across all its variants, including petrol and hybrid models. In child occupant protection tests, it scored an impressive 45 out of 49, with perfect scores in dynamic performance and child restraint system installation. The vehicle comes equipped with six airbags, ISOFIX mounts, ABS with EBD, stability control, and hill start assist as standard features. In adult occupant protection tests, the Innova Hycross scored 30.47 out of 32, receiving 'adequate' and 'good' ratings for various body parts. The top-spec ZX (O) trim even includes Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for added safety. The Toyota Innova Hycross' 5-star rating for both adult and child occupant protection is a testament to Toyota's commitment to safety.
