Strike's European Expansion Imminent: Multiple Countries to Gain Access This Month

Strike, the popular payment platform, is set to expand into multiple European countries in the coming weeks. CEO Jack Mallers has hinted at this development in recent statements, sparking excitement among Bitcoin enthusiasts across the continent.

Mallers, who announced Strike's global expansion plans in 2019, has been teasing the European launch for some time. In a recent interview on X, he suggested that the rollout could happen as early as this month, pending successful testing and regulatory clearance. The official announcement may come at the Bitcoin conference in Miami later this month.

Strike's expansion into Europe has been highly anticipated. The platform uses the Lightning Network for fast, fee-free, and borderless payments, supporting multiple currencies. It began its global expansion in 2021, starting with El Salvador, and later Argentina and several African countries. Mallers himself hinted at the imminent European expansion at the Bitcoin Atlantis conference earlier this year. In 2023, Strike entered its first European and South American markets, including Montenegro, Serbia, and Mexico.

Strike's European expansion is imminent, with multiple countries set to gain access to the platform in the coming weeks. This move is expected to significantly increase Strike's user base and further its mission of providing fast, fee-free, and borderless payments worldwide.
