Start-up hub Rubik Hub ranks 39th on the list of Europe's top start-up hubs, as recognized by Financial Times, Statista, and Sifted.
In an exciting development for the Romanian startup scene, Rubik Hub has been ranked as the 39th leading start-up hub in Europe, according to the second edition of Europe's Leading Start-up Hubs 2025 ranking. This recognition marks one of the most significant validations for Rubik Hub, as CEO Vlad Gliga stated.
The ranking, compiled by the Financial Times, Statista, and Sifted, analysed the most successful start-ups from each program, assessing them across multiple key dimensions such as mentoring and training, infrastructure, legal assistance, business development support, networking opportunities, and funding access. Out of 3,000 applicants, only 150 hubs secured a spot in the ranking.
Rubik Hub, located in Romania, has demonstrated its commitment to fostering a sustainable startup community that encourages organic growth and multiple startup successes over time. The hub, which is part of the North-East Regional Development Agency, boasts a network of over 250 mentors, both from Romania and abroad. These mentors are entrepreneurs, investors, and industry professionals who volunteer their time to support founders.
The team at Rubik Hub has supported over 300 founders who have collectively secured more than €55 million in investments. The hub offers a comprehensive start-up journey, guiding founders from idea validation to acceleration, international expansion, and investment raising.
The evaluation process for the ranking primarily relied on alumni feedback, external expert recommendations, including insights from investors, entrepreneurs, and academic leaders. Rubik Hub's inclusion among Europe's top startup hubs implies significant contributions to startup growth, ecosystem development, and possibly collaboration with investors and startups aiming for scalability and sustainability.
Despite limited specific detailed information about Rubik Hub's background and achievements in search results, it is highlighted in the context of investor mindset and sustainable startup ecosystems, suggesting its prominence in nurturing innovation and supporting entrepreneurial ventures in Europe.
This recognition reaffirms Rubik Hub's commitment to empowering start-up founders and fostering a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. As the hub continues to grow and support the next generation of Romanian startups, it is poised to make a significant impact on the European startup landscape.
