SpaceX Initiates Zero-Cost Starlink Kit Offer Spread Across Most Regions in Canada

The Residential Lite Plan, offering speeds around 40–135 Mbps, is discounted to $65 per month.
New customers in eligible US regions can also take advantage of a 12-month discounted service promotion, where they can get the discounted monthly rates and 50% off the equipment, with no long-term contracts required and the ability to cancel anytime without penalty. However, it's important to note that these discounts do not generally apply in major metro areas or places with high Starlink demand, where higher fees or no discounts apply due to bandwidth limitations.
Across the border in Canada, the Starlink offer is currently available almost everywhere, with pockets of unavailability in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, and Yukon. Eligible Canadians can receive the Starlink hardware kit for free under this new promotion.
In addition, Germany and Australia are also offering the Starlink promotion, but it is available in more limited regions. Notably, in Italy, the $0 kit promotion for Starlink is available nationwide.
To qualify for the free kit in Canada, customers must commit to a 12-month Residential service plan. The offer includes a 30-day trial period during which customers can cancel and return the kit for a full refund. If customers cancel after the trial or breach the terms of the agreement, they will be charged a prorated Change Fee, starting at C$499 in Canada and gradually reduced each month over the 12-month period.
