Sochi's Transport Boosted: 26 New Electric Trains Launched
The acting vice-governor of Krasnodar Krai, Evgeny Pergun, has praised the successful completion of transport infrastructure improvements in Greater Sochi. This includes the launch of additional electric trains on the route to the Imeretinsky Resort.
The regional administration, the Ministry of Transport, the carrier, and JSC 'RZD' worked together to achieve this. A total of 26 additional 'Lastochka' electric trains now run from Sochi. These trains pass through Matsesta, Host, Adler, and the Scientific Park before reaching the Imeretinsky Resort.
The successful launch of these additional trains is expected to improve transport infrastructure in Greater Sochi. It is a result of effective collaboration between the regional administration, the Ministry of Transport, the carrier, and JSC 'RZD'.
