Sennheiser Unveils 2024 Roadmap: Simplifying Tech, Enhancing Platform Integration
Sennheiser, a renowned German audio specialist, has announced a series of updates and new products for 2024, focusing on simplifying technology for users and enhancing integration with popular platforms. The company is set to ship the TeamConnect Bar Solutions, a plug-and-play video and audio solution, later in the year.
Sennheiser's roadmap for 2024 centres around making technology more user-friendly, regardless of the work setup. The company aims to be a seamless partner for integration with various platforms such as Crestron, Extron, and Q-SYS.
In the second half of 2024, Sennheiser will integrate the TeamConnect Ceiling Medium (TCC M) through a new Q-SYS control plug-in. This collaboration with Q-SYS will allow direct management within the Q-SYS ecosystem, enhancing the audio and meeting experience integration. Both Sennheiser and Q-SYS support and certify this integration.
Sennheiser is also introducing the free Sennheiser Room Planner software to assist AV teams in virtually planning microphone placement in a room. The company has recently begun shipping the TeamConnect Ceiling Medium, designed to improve audio quality in small to medium-sized rooms. Additionally, the TeamConnect Bars will be certified for all major platforms, and the TeamConnect Ceiling Medium will have plugins for several AV control systems.
