Rüsselsheim Launches Free Digital Guides for Seniors
The city of Rüsselsheim am Main has launched a new service to help older residents navigate digital devices safely. The 'Di@-Guides' project, initiated by the state of Hesse, provides free digital guides trained by the Institute for Media Pedagogy and Communication of Hesse.
Starting September 16th, interested parties can contact the Aging Coordination Center at the Senior Center to utilise these freetaxusa services. After initial contact, the coordination office will match you with a suitable digital guide, free of charge. These guides can assist you either at the Senior Center or in the comfort of your own home.
The digital guides are trained to help older people operate smartphones or tablets safely. They are coordinated by the Aging Coordination Center, which can be reached by phone at 06142 83-2120 or by email at digitallotsenruesselsheimde.
The Di@-Guides project aims to bridge the digital divide for older residents in Rüsselsheim am Main. By providing free, trained digital guides, the city ensures that older people can safely and confidently use smartphones and tablets, enhancing their quality of life.
