Ring Unveils New 2K & 4K Security Cameras with Advanced AI Features
Ring, the home security company, has announced a range of new balance cameras with advanced features. The devices, available for preorder now, include models like the Wired Doorbell Pro and Spotlight Cam Pro. Prices start at $59.99 and go up to $499.99 for the top-end Wired Doorbell Elite.
The new news boast 2K and 4K resolution, along with Ring's Retinal Vision technology. This enhances sharpness, improves low-light visibility, and offers impressive zoom capabilities. The devices also come with AI-powered features such as Alexa+ Greetings and Familiar Faces.
Alexa+ Greetings acts as a virtual doorman, handling deliveries, communicating with visitors, and reducing routine interruptions. Familiar Faces, rolling out in December, recognizes known people, reduces unnecessary notifications, and labels events with names in the Ring app.
Another notable feature is the Search Party tool, which uses AI to help locate missing pets. It launches for dogs in November, alerting nearby camera owners if a match is detected. Cats and other animals will be included in future updates.
The new Ring cameras, with their advanced AI features and enhanced resolution, are set to bolster home security and convenience. Preorders are open now, with prices starting at $59.99. The integration of Alexa+ promises more interactive and efficient use of the devices.
