Introducing the Rezvani Retro RR1 Coupe: A Porsche 935 Tribute

The automotive world is abuzz with excitement over the latest offering from Rezvani Motors, the Retro RR1 Coupe. This carbon-fiber masterpiece is a tribute to the iconic Porsche 935, transforming a 992-generation 911 into a 1970s racing legend.

The RR1 Coupe boasts a sculpted carbon-fiber bodywork designed for aerodynamic efficiency, directing airflow for both cooling and downforce. Its distinctive rear spoiler channels the 935's whale-tail DNA, while details like turbo-fan wheel covers enhance the retro aesthetic and improve aerodynamics. The car features staggered wheels (20-inch front, 21-inch rear) wearing high-performance rubber.

Under the hood, the RR1 Coupe comes in two variants: a 600hp model with a twin-turbo 3.0-liter flat-six engine, and a more powerful 750hp variant based on the Turbo S platform. Optional Öhlins TTX-Pro coilovers and Brembo GT-S brakes are available for those seeking an even more exhilarating driving experience. For track enthusiasts, the RR1 Coupe offers options like a steel roll cage and lightweight polycarbonate windows.

The RR1 Coupe is the brainchild of Rezvani Motors, an Irvine-based company with a reputation for creating visually striking street-legal machines. Founded in 2013 by Ferris Rezvani, the company has also made a name for itself in the military-inspired vehicle market. Now, with the launch of its new Retro division, Rezvani Motors is focusing on nostalgic designs inspired by racing's golden era.

With a production limit of just 50 units worldwide, the RR1 Coupe is a rare and exclusive car. The first customer car showcases a Martini-inspired livery with blue and red racing stripes. However, inside the RR1 Coupe, buyers can customize the interior, livery work, and options to ensure no two builds share identical DNA.

The starting price for the 600-horsepower variant is $195,000, not including the cost of the donor Porsche 911 vehicle required for the build. Due to the limited production run, the RR1 Coupe is likely to be available through Rezvani’s direct order process, though specific delivery timelines are not detailed in the available sources.

Given the customization options available, potential buyers are advised to contact Rezvani directly or visit their official site for the most comprehensive and updated specifics on this exciting new offering.
