Redesigned Pixel Buds 2 Set to Launch with Affordable Price and New Features
The much-anticipated redesigned Pixel Buds 2, part of the Pixel Buds A-series lineup, are set to make their debut in the near future. The new earbuds are poised to offer a solid sound quality, dependable Google Assistant integration, and seamless pairing with Pixel phones and other Android devices.
According to leaks and official announcements, the Pixel Buds 2a will come in two confirmed colours at launch: Iris and Hazel. Iris, a soft yet striking purple, is one of the colours for the redesigned Pixel Buds 2. Hazel, though details are scarce, is expected to be another colour option.
While the redesigned Pixel Buds 2 will share some features with its more advanced counterpart, the Pixel Buds Pro 2, there are notable differences. For instance, the redesigned Pixel Buds 2 will have a battery life of 7 hours, slightly less than the Pixel Buds Pro 2's 8 hours. However, the redesigned Pixel Buds 2 will aim to be competitive while keeping costs low.
The redesigned Pixel Buds 2 will boast essential features such as Active Noise Cancellation and Spatial Audio. The case of the redesigned Pixel Buds 2 will have a unified color that matches the earbuds, and it will come in various colours, including the rumoured Fog Light and Gray, though these have not been confirmed as launch colours.
It's worth noting that the Pixel Buds A-series does not include wireless charging or advanced audio tuning, unlike the Pixel Buds Pro. Nevertheless, the Pixel Buds A-series has built a reputation for itself as a more accessible alternative to the Pixel Buds Pro.
