Recommendation sought for a legislation to safeguard workers from radiation hazards in the workplace.

The Lippe Police are set to host a two-part E-bike safety seminar in September, aimed at enhancing participants' competencies and promoting safe cycling practices.

The seminar, which will take place on September 3rd and September 11th, will be held at the police premises in Waldweg 20, 32760 Detmold. Each session will run from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

Registration for the seminar is mandatory and can be made by phone at 05231 609 4012 (Monday to Friday, from 8 - 12) or by email at [email protected]. Participants are also encouraged to register via fax at 05231 / 609-5095.

The seminar consists of both theoretical and practical sessions. The theoretical part will cover discussions on traffic-safe bicycle requirements, helmet usage, and visibility in traffic. The practical part will focus on basic riding techniques and exercises in a set-up course.

The second session will culminate in a group ride, where participants will navigate through problematic traffic situations to discuss correct E-bike behaviour. It is essential that participants bring their own E-bike and helmet for the practical sessions.

Scientific studies suggest that multi-day training courses improve participants' competencies by applying theoretical knowledge directly in traffic. The Lippe Police seminar follows this approach, offering a comprehensive learning experience for all involved.
