Porsche Unveils 2025 911 Carrera T: A Modern Touring Classic
Porsche has unveiled the 2025 911 Carrera T, a modern revival of the classic touring-spec variant first introduced in 1968. The new model, developed by sports car chief Frank Moser, is now available for order in both coupe and cabriolet versions.
The 2025 911 Carrera T is based on the 911 Carrera and features a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine, generating 388 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque. This powerplant propels the car from 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds and up to a top speed of 183 mph.
The new T-spec model retains the classic spirit of its predecessor, offering Porsche Active Suspension Management, rear-axle steering, and upgraded braking hardware. Inside, drivers will find black anodized aluminum door panel trim, lightweight glass, and a unique open-pore, laminated walnut shift knob.
Porsche has set the starting price for the 911 Carrera T at $134,000, with the cabriolet version priced at $147,300. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in summer 2025.
The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera T and 911 Carrera T Cabriolet pay homage to the original 911 T while incorporating modern performance and technology. With orders now open, Porsche enthusiasts can look forward to experiencing the latest evolution of this iconic touring-spec variant.
