Panasonic Avionics & Flightradar24 Bring Real-Time Fleet Tracking to In-Flight Entertainment

Panasonic Avionics and Flightradar24 have joined forces to enhance in-flight entertainment. The collaboration, announced in October 2018, brings real-time flight tracking to passengers.

Panasonic Avionics' ArcTM platform, which has seen strong uptake among airlines, will now feature a new Live Fleet View. This innovative tool is powered by data from Flightradar24, the world's most popular flight-tracking service.

The Live Fleet View will provide passengers with an immersive, real-time map displaying all their airline's currently airborne aircraft. Panasonic Avionics revealed this partnership on LinkedIn, highlighting the integration of Flightradar24's live airline fleet data into its ArcTM moving map platform.

The collaboration between Panasonic Avionics and Flightradar24 brings a new level of engagement to in-flight entertainment. Passengers can now track their airline's fleet in real-time, adding a dynamic element to their journey.
