Over half a century of power supplied in Bremen
Rudolf Fritz GmbH, a company specialising in electrical installations and electrical and data technology, has recently moved to the Hansalinie industrial park in Bremen. The decision to relocate was driven by the need for a production area, as the old premises were no longer feasible in terms of construction and space.
The Bremen branch of Rudolf Fritz GmbH offers services in building technology, automation, conveyor technology, data technology, and more. Under the leadership of site manager Markus Schleif, the Bremen branch has grown significantly over the past decade, expanding from 26 to around 70 employees.
The Hansalinie industrial park is an ideal location for Rudolf Fritz GmbH due to its proximity to Mercedes and many supplier companies. This strategic positioning has allowed the company to win numerous customers in Bremen and the surrounding area.
One of the major projects Rudolf Fritz GmbH has been involved in is the mammoth project for the Bremen tram company, which they have been accompanying for almost six years. The team is responsible for the electrical equipment of the new tram depot, the stop infrastructure, and the operational base in the Bremen district of Gröpelingen, among other tasks.
The Bremen tram company relies on Rudolf Fritz GmbH for various electrical projects, including cabling of display boards for buses and trams, loudspeakers, power connections, data technology, and complete building equipment. The company also operates a small workshop for building control cabinets at their site in the Hansalinie industrial park.
Rudolf Fritz GmbH has been operating for 50 years and offers its expertise in measurement and drive technology, aerospace, renewable energies, and heating and sanitation at their various locations. The state is addressing the issues of space and construction with measures within the framework of "Future-oriented Economic Sites," which are being progressively implemented as part of the Hansalinie expansion and are part of the 2030 industrial development program.
However, the Hansalinie industrial park is not without its challenges. The lack of local supply and the still-improvable connection to public transport are potential issues that the company and the state are working to address. Despite these challenges, Rudolf Fritz GmbH is poised for growth in its new location, thanks to the Hansalinie industrial park's ample capacity.
