Newly Introduced: Cinebot Nano by MRMC

New Motion Control Robot System Unveiled by Mark Roberts Motion Control (MRMC)

Mark Roberts Motion Control (MRMC) has launched a new product, the Cinebot Nano, a compact and portable motion control robot designed for solo filmmakers and small production teams.

The Cinebot Nano boasts a nine-axis robotic arm with a 1-meter reach and the ability to support camera payloads up to 7 kg (15.4 lbs). It is designed for use in various locations, including tight studio spaces and on location.

The Cinebot Nano's compact and travel-ready design breaks down into three airline-friendly cases, each under 32 kg (70 lbs), making it easy to transport and deploy quickly on location. The total system weight is about 49 kg (108 lbs).

The Cinebot Nano integrates with Tilta's zoom and focus control hardware, synchronizing lens adjustments with motion paths, and simplifying operation by removing the need for separate lens operators.

The Cinebot Nano uses MRMC's simplified Flair Lite software, which provides an intuitive interface for motion control. Users own the Flair Lite software for life, with no subscription required.

The Cinebot Nano offers high-speed, precise movement, with an arm speed of up to 3.2 m/s, combined arm and track speed of up to 4.2 m/s, and track speed of up to 1 m/s on a 1.45m track. Arm joints offer full rotations with speeds up to 225˚/s depending on the axis.

The Cinebot Nano operates on 110-264 VAC with an average consumption under 150 W. It can be mounted on tripods, suctioned to vehicles, operated upside down, or used in tight spaces.

The Cinebot Nano is available worldwide from September 2025, with basic packages starting from approximately £20,000 GBP. For more information about the Cinebot Nano, visit the company's website.

In summary, the Cinebot Nano is a highly portable, versatile, and relatively affordable motion control robot system aimed at expanding professional cinematic camera movement to smaller crews and solo creators while maintaining precision and integration capabilities of larger MRMC models.
