New Pixel 10 Pro XL apparently shows off its substantial size in significant leak ahead of its upcoming release
The tech world is abuzz with excitement as leaked renders and rumours about the upcoming Google Pixel 10 series have been making the rounds. Ahead of the official launch event scheduled for August 20, here's what we know so far about the Pixel 10 Pro XL and the base Pixel 10.
Google Pixel 10 Pro XL
The Pixel 10 Pro XL, the premium and most advanced model in the family, is rumoured to boast a large 6.8-inch Super Actua display and a triple camera array on the back with three lenses: a 50MP wide, a 48MP ultrawide, and a 48MP telephoto lens with a 100x zoom capability. The device is also said to feature a 42MP selfie camera.
In terms of colour options, the Pixel 10 Pro XL will be available in Obsidian (black), Porcelain (white), Jade (green), and Moonstone (gray). The device is expected to retain a design similar to last year’s Pixel Pro XL model, with rounded corners, a completely flat display, and a large camera array.
The Pixel 10 Pro XL is reported to be powered by Google's Tensor G5 SoC and is expected to come with up to 16GB RAM. It is also expected to have a 5,200mAh battery that could last up to 24 hours or more, Pixelsnap Qi2-capable wireless charging, and support for 8K video recording. Storage options are likely to include 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
Google Pixel 10 (base model)
The base Pixel 10 offers a more balanced midrange option with good cameras and battery life, but less RAM and a slightly smaller display compared to the Pro models. It features a 6.3-inch Actua display and a more compact design. The device is expected to have a triple rear camera setup: a 48MP wide, a 13MP ultrawide, and a 10.8MP telephoto lens with 20x zoom capabilities.
The base Pixel 10 will be available in Obsidian (black), Blue (blue), Iris (purple), and Limoncello (yellow). The device is expected to be powered by Google's Tensor G5 processor and come with 12GB RAM. It is also expected to have a 4,970mAh battery, support Pixelsnap wireless charging, and offer 4K video recording.
The official launch event for the Pixel 10 series is scheduled for August 20, where final specs, colours, and pricing will be confirmed. Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the big day!
