In the world of tech, things aren't always smooth sailing, and Spotify didn't escape the turbulence. Evercore ISI head of internet research, Mark Mahaney, spilled the tea on hot tech stocks during an appearance on 'Varney & Co.'
Spotify, the popular Swedish audio streaming and media service, finds itself in a pickle as its app and website face an outage, rendering them unresponsive during the wee hours of Wednesday morning.
Straight up, Spotify confessed to their mistakes, stating on their Twitter handle, @SpotifyStatus, around 10 a.m. ET that they are acutely aware of the shenanigans and that the appropriate team is on the case, working diligently on a fix.
On their community website, Spotify admitted that some users were experiencing a variety of issues, including an app that simply refused to load, playback mishaps, and even difficulties accessing the support site. These issues affect both mobile and desktop devices.
