**MSI Unveils Next-Generation AMD Motherboards for Ryzen 9000 Series CPUs**

MSI, a leading manufacturer of motherboards, has announced its initial lineup of next-generation X870E and X870 motherboards, designed for the AMD AM5 platform. These boards offer advanced features and connectivity options tailored for high-performance computing and gaming.

The flagship of the new lineup is the MEG X870E Godlike, an Extended ATX (E-ATX) board designed for enthusiasts and high-end setups. It supports AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000, and 7000 series processors and features DDR5 memory up to 9000+ MT/s in a dual-channel configuration. The motherboard boasts a robust 110A Smart Power Stage (SPS) for stable CPU power delivery and includes innovations such as Dynamic Dashboard III and EZ Slide M.2 for easy SSD installation and monitoring.

The X870E Carbon Wi-Fi, while not explicitly detailed, is expected to share many performance and power delivery features with the Godlike but with a slightly smaller form factor and possibly fewer extreme overclocking features. It is likely to offer DDR5 support, AM5 socket compatibility, and premium connectivity including Wi-Fi 7 support.

The MAG X870 Tomahawk Wi-Fi is a standard ATX board suitable for gaming builds with good expansion options. It supports AMD Ryzen 9000/8000/7000 series processors and offers DDR5 memory support with high-speed capabilities. The motherboard features a 14 Duet Rail Power System with 80A Smart Power Stage, supported by Digital PWM IC, 2-phase SOC power, and 1-phase MISC power for stable operation under load. It also includes full-speed Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, a USB4 Type-C port for fast device connectivity and data transfer, and MSI's Frozr Design with extended heatsinks, thermal pads, and an advanced fan control system for optimal thermal conditions.

The Pro X870-P Wi-Fi is aimed at professional and mainstream users, offering AM5 support with AMD Ryzen 9000/8000/7000 CPU compatibility. It likely includes DDR5 memory support with a stable power design, Wi-Fi connectivity (likely Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 depending on the exact model release time), and focuses on balancing professional features and connectivity without some of the extreme features of the Godlike or Tomahawk models, making it good for efficient and reliable workstation builds.

All four boards feature tool-less M.2 functionality, enabling users to swap M.2 SSDs in and out without the need for a screwdriver. They also incorporate MSI's EZ DIY features, including the EZ PCIe release, and MSI's Steel Armor 2 for a more strengthened PCIe slot to support heavier graphics cards. A dedicated 8-pin supplemental PCIe power connector has been introduced at the bottom of each board to support power-hungry graphics cards. This connector is designed to support up to 2.5x power excursions to keep power stable under heavy loads.

These motherboards represent MSI's flagship and mainstream choices for AMD's latest AM5 platform, providing a range of options from extreme gaming and overclocking with the Godlike to solid gaming with the Tomahawk and professional use with the Pro X870-P, all featuring the newest connectivity standards like Wi-Fi 7 and USB4 to future-proof builds.
