Firstly, the author is thrilled to announce that they will be attending GenCon this year. They had a fantastic time playing in the Star Wars event, "Lord of the Hives," last year and are looking forward to returning and participating again this time around. However, details about the game "Lord of the Hives" and whether it is being run again at this year's Gen Con are not yet available. In other news, the site's vulnerability to hacking has been significantly reduced, thanks to the latest updates on the server. The PHP has been updated, allowing for the updating of plugins, and the latest version of WordPress has been installed to ensure the site runs smoothly.
The author also hopes that they won't be met with the same mishap as last year, when they accidentally cut their phone in half during the convention!
