MinIO Launches Academy to Train Object Storage Professionals
MinIO, a leading object storage provider, has launched MinIO Academy, a centralized education portal designed to empower IT professionals. The platform offers three learning programs to cater to various needs and skill levels.
MinIO Academy focuses on training users to master MinIO AIStor, a scalable object store. It provides specialized training for administrators, developers, and data engineers working with large namespaces. The platform offers a centralized hub for training resources, documentation, and hands-on labs, ensuring users and partners have access to the tools they need to excel.
The academy offers three learning programs: Quick Start, which is free and ideal for beginners; Enterprise, a paid subscription for in-depth learning; and Partner Enablement, designed for authorized MinIO partners. The partner program supports education and training of MinIO partners through various firms or groups, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
The launch of MinIO Academy comes at a time when the demand for skilled professionals who can manage object storage technology has increased significantly. Backblaze, a cloud storage company, recently announced record revenue driven by organizations handling larger datasets related to AI, highlighting the growing need for expertise in this area. MinIO Academy aims to fill this gap by providing comprehensive training and resources to IT professionals and partners.
