Forte Minerals Secures Strategic Partnership and Funding for Exploration Activities
Forte Minerals Corp., an exploration company focused on high-quality copper (Cu) and gold (Au) assets in Peru, has announced a significant development in its growth strategy. The company has formed a strategic partnership with GlobeTrotters Resources Peru S.A.C., granting access to a pipeline of historically drilled, high-impact copper and gold targets across premier Andean mineral belts in Peru.
In a move to further strengthen its position, Forte Minerals has also completed a private placement with a strategic investor, raising C$5.7 million by selling 6.32 million common shares at C$0.90 per share. This investor now holds 9.99% of Forte’s issued and outstanding shares on a non-diluted basis.
The proceeds from the private placement will be primarily used to advance exploration activities at Forte’s flagship Alto Ruri high-sulfidation epithermal gold project in central Peru. At least 80% of the funds will be directed towards this project, including accelerating exploration and drill permitting efforts. The remaining balance will be allocated to general working capital and corporate purposes.
