LG Unveils CLOi CarryBot Family: Autonomous Robots Streamline Logistics, Retail, and Healthcare
LG Business Solutions has unveiled the LG CLOi CarryBot family, a range of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) designed to streamline product movement in complex environments. These robots, developed by South Korean electronics giant LG Electronics, are set to revolutionize logistics, retail, and healthcare sectors.
The LG CLOi CarryBot features LG's advanced AMR platform for autonomous navigation, allowing it to adjust to real-world situations and navigate complex floor plans with ease. It can be programmed for virtually any floor plan and has practically unlimited pickup and delivery points, ensuring precise navigation and multi-point deliveries. The robot's top speed of 2.7 miles per hour and typical runtime of 18.5 hours make it an efficient worker, reducing physical strain on employees and allowing them to focus on other tasks.
The CLOi CarryBot comes in various types to suit different needs. The Mounting Type is ideal for smaller package needs or tight spaces, featuring two shelves that are 30 inches wide and 16.5 inches deep. For larger payloads, the Rolltainer Type offers enhanced capacity with shelves that can accommodate packages up to 29 inches wide and 19 inches deep. Each robot is equipped with the latest Wi-Fi capabilities and an intuitive fleet management system for seamless operation.
At the end of its shift or when power is low, the LG CLOi CarryBot can automatically return to a designated multi-AMR charging dock for recharging. The robot integrates with various Warehouse Management Systems, including material control, fleet management, and robot management systems, ensuring smooth operation within existing infrastructure.
The LG CLOi CarryBot family is set to transform the way goods are transported within various sectors. With its advanced navigation capabilities, customizable configurations, and seamless integration with existing systems, these robots promise to increase productivity, reduce worker strain, and optimize operations.
