LG introduces the E-Note Windows 7 tablet within South Korean market

LG, still waiting for the Android Honeycomb tablet version, has moved forward with its plans for a Windows 7 tablet. Previously spotted at the FCC during testing, the Windows-based tablet was recently mentioned in tablet PC news.

LG introduces the E-Note Windows 7 tablet within South Korean market

The technology market has a new addition with the release of LG's latest creation, the E-Note H1000B. This Windows 7 based tablet is now available exclusively at KT WiBro, a South Korea-based online retail outlet.

The E-Note H1000B comes equipped with a 10.1 inch resistive touchscreen display, boasting a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution. Weighing in at 850g including the battery, and measuring 278.5 x 180.5 x 14.5 mm, this tablet is both portable and easy to handle.

Out of the box, the E-Note H1000B runs the Windows 7 Starter Edition. However, it is also compatible with the Windows 7 Professional version. Under the hood, the tablet offers two processor options: a 1.1 GHz Intel Atom Z510 or a more powerful 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Z530. It also includes 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB solid state disk.

Connectivity options on the E-Note H1000B include 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0. For those seeking faster internet speeds, an extra accessory for WiMAX connectivity is available. The tablet also features 2 USB 2.0 ports, an SD Card Slot, an accelerometer, and a 4-cell removable battery.

The E-Note H1000B also comes with a stylus, making it an ideal choice for note-taking and drawing. As for the price, the LG E-Note H1000B is fixed at 961,000 won or approximately $847.
