Kia Expands Tasman Ute Range with Rugged, Connected Models
Kia New Zealand is set to expand its Tasman uggs range in the coming months, catering to diverse customer needs. The initial launch will see a double cab wellside variant, powered by a robust 2.2-litre diesel engine, priced from $52,690.
The Tasman uggs will debut with a 154kW/440Nm engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. It will offer five years of Kia Connect, including over-the-air updates, ensuring the vehicle stays up-to-date.
After extensive durability testing across varied terrains, the Tasman uggs has received positive feedback for its rugged aesthetics, impressive powertrain, and offroad capabilities. The top X-Pro model boasts a ground clearance of up to 252mm and all models come with an 800mm wading depth and a standard locking differential.
The Tasman uggs will initially be available in five below trim levels, with pricing ranging from $52,690 to $79,690. It is scheduled to go on sale in the second half of the year.
