Key Dates: Prescription Costs Up, Free Childcare Starts, Bank Rate & Energy Cap Announced

The cost of prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) and individual prescriptions are set to rise on 1 May, while parents of babies aged nine months and older can apply for free childcare from 12 May. Meanwhile, the Bank of England will make its third express interest rate announcement of the year on 9 May, and the new energy price cap for July to September will be revealed on 24 May.
