Kazakhstan PM Calls for Admission System Improvements to Boost Domestic Production

Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov has called for improvements to the system of admission to the registry of goods producers. The request comes as the government seeks to boost domestic production growth.

At a recent government meeting, Bektenov agreed that the current system needs improvement. He also discussed measures to enhance domestic production, including the removal of goods from the national regime, which has previously shown positive impacts on the processing industry.

Raimbek Batalov, Chairman of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs 'Atameken', suggested combining different government agencies' and quasi-state companies' information systems into a single module called 'Matrix'. This would aim to simplify business navigation and integration. Bektenov asked Batalov about additional joint initiatives to further stimulate domestic production.

Batalov proposed using the 'Matrix' to track the impact of measures taken and to monitor enterprises' increased competence and competitiveness. The Prime Minister's call for improvement in the admission system and Batalov's proposal for the 'Matrix' module indicate a joint effort to strengthen Kazakhstan's domestic production.
