Kazakhstan Launches Region's Most Powerful Supercomputer, Alemcloud
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev inaugurated a new supercomputer at the National Supercomputer Center Alemcloud, marking a significant milestone in Kazakhstan's digital transformation. The supercomputer, launched in a newly constructed data center for the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry, boasts impressive specifications. It delivers a performance of up to 2 exaFLOPS in FP8 format, powered by NVIDIA H200 graphics processors. This makes it the region's most powerful computing solution.
President Tokayev emphasized the importance of this launch, stating that it will be a crucial step in the digitization of key sectors.
