JBL Professional unveils Control 400 Standard and Premium Coverage Series ceiling speakers for installation.
JBL Professional Launches Control 400 Ceiling Speaker Series
Harman Professional Solutions has expanded its Control 400 Ceiling Speaker Family with the introduction of the JBL Professional Control 400 Standard Coverage Series and Control 400 Premium Coverage Series ceiling speakers. The new series comprises 15 models and completes the family's 21-model lineup.
The Control 400 Series shares core features with earlier JBL Control 10, Control 20, and Control 40 ceiling speaker families, including superior sonic performance, reliability, helpful installation features, and a contemporary design aesthetic. All models feature thoughtfully engineered installation features for enhanced safety, efficiency, and repeatability.
Customization Options
Available black and square grilles offer additional customization options for the Control 400 Series, allowing integrators to fit modern architectural aesthetics seamlessly. The full-face magnetic grille included in the series is paintable for an even more integrated look.
Three Distinct Tiers
The series offers options at three distinct tiers of coverage consistency and price. The Standard Coverage Series is designed to provide high-performance audio at an affordable price point, making it suitable for cost-sensitive commercial applications. The Enhanced Coverage Series uses JBL’s Coplanar Radiation Boundary Integrator (CRBI) technology, delivering a more even frequency response across the coverage area, balancing performance and cost effectively between the Standard and Premium tiers.
The Premium Coverage Series features JBL’s proprietary conical Radiation Boundary Integrator (RBI) technology for utmost coverage consistency, providing the smoothest, clearest, and most consistent sound quality across a wide coverage area. It is designed for installations where audio quality and clarity are paramount.
Efficient Installation
The Control 400 Series models incorporate design elements tailored for modern interiors. Most models include transformers to support both 70V/100V and low-impedance applications. Terminal covers allow for convenient top or side cable entry. The series also uses a reliable captive dogear design that accommodates a variety of ceiling thicknesses.
