Jaguar XF SportBrake Teased Ahead of Geneva Motor Show Debut
Jaguar has started building anticipation for the XF SportBrake with official spy shots and a dedicated Twitter account. The automaker has confirmed that the vehicle will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in the spring of 2012.
Jaguar first announced plans for the XF SportBrake in November 2011, with an official confirmation of its Geneva Motor Show premiere following in March 2012. The current XF model is based on the S-Type platform, making a 4WD option for the SportBrake unlikely in the near future.
The next generation XF, including its SportBrake variant, is expected to arrive in the next two to three years. Jaguar has confirmed that official details about the XF SportBrake will be released in the New Year. The automaker has hinted that the XF SportBrake will be a desirable and luxurious addition to its lineup.
