Jack Dorsey, a prominent figure in tech, introduces a novel encrypted messaging system titled BitChat.

In a groundbreaking move, Jack Dorsey, the co-founder of Twitter, has unveiled a new decentralized messaging app named Bitchat. This innovative app leverages Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) mesh networks to facilitate peer-to-peer communication, eliminating the need for internet or cellular connectivity.

## Key Features of Bitchat

Bitchat's decentralized structure sets it apart, as it functions without central servers or infrastructure dependencies, making it resilient to network outages and censorship. The app uses BLE to connect devices directly, with automatic message relay extending the effective range beyond direct Bluetooth connections, achieving a range of up to 300 meters (984 feet).

Maintaining privacy and security is paramount for Bitchat. Messages are encrypted end-to-end, ensuring they remain private. Additionally, messages exist only in device memory by default and are not stored on any centralized servers, providing ephemeral communication.

## Current Status of Bitchat

Currently, Bitchat is undergoing beta testing via Apple's TestFlight, with a limit of 10,000 users, which has been reached. Future developments may include support for Wi-Fi Direct to enhance network speed and size.

Dorsey's focus on decentralized communication aligns with his long-standing interest in technologies like Bitcoin and his past involvement with projects like Bluesky. Bitchat addresses the need for resilient, private communication that doesn't rely on traditional internet infrastructure.

Stay tuned for updates on Bitchat, as it continues to revolutionize the way we communicate. For more updates on Bitcoin, Ethereum, Trading, Altcoins, Futuremash, Financeflux, Blockchain, Regulators, Scams, HodlX, and Press Releases, visit The Daily Hodl.

Bitchat, under development, is set to revolutionize communication by utilizing blockchain technology, with its decentralized structure and end-to-end encryption, potentially expanding support to altcoins in future developments. Data-and-cloud-computing infrastructure will stay minimal as messages are stored only in device memory, preserving privacy while leveraging technology for peer-to-peer communication, accentuating its distinctive features in the realm of cryptocurrency.
