Is Prodrive's car racing simulator considered the best globally?

In a thrilling announcement, Prodrive has revealed the updated Prodrive Racing Simulator, a high-end gaming experience that combines British craftsmanship, cutting-edge technology, and motorsport heritage. The new simulator, designed by Ian Callum CBE, former Jaguar styling boss, made its debut around early July 2025.

The updated Racing Simulator boasts a curvaceous shape, reminiscent of a sleek supercar, and is adorned with Connolly leather upholstery, which can be personalised to suit the owner's taste. The simulator's frame is crafted from sixteen layers of beech, capped by a gloss black lacquer, giving it a piano-like finish, thanks to the expertise of superyacht builder Pendennis.

The audio system is provided by Bang & Olufsen, ensuring an immersive and high-quality audio experience. The simulator is equipped with a 49-inch Dual-QHD 5k-resolution curved monitor, Precision Sim Engineering LM Pro steering wheel, and electrically adjustable pedals. For added realism, the Assetto Corsa racing game is pre-installed.

David Richards CBE, Prodrive co-founder and chairman, shared, "We are excited to present the updated Prodrive Racing Simulator. It's a testament to our four decades of global motorsport success and our commitment to delivering the best gaming experience for sim racing enthusiasts."

Pricing for the updated simulator is expected to start at £40,000, similar to the previous version, although the exact price has not been confirmed by Prodrive. For those interested in experiencing this luxurious gaming experience, a special concierge is available.

The updated Racing Simulator was showcased at Bang & Olufsen of Mayfair before the British Grand Prix, making it a centrepiece that sparks conversation and offers an immersive experience. Whether used for racing against friends, family, or honing skills for upcoming races, the updated Prodrive Racing Simulator promises to elevate the gaming experience to new heights.
