The Shanghai Auto Show has been a bustling hub of automotive innovation, and this year, two new models have caught the attention of many: the Huatai B11 and the Huatai Shengdafei 5 PHEV.

The Huatai B11, the company's new flagship, is set to hit the production line soon. Powered by SAIC's 1.8 turbo model (18K4G), this model is also found in the Roewe 550 and 750 models. The dimensions of the Huatai B11 are 4943×1856×1516, with a wheelbase of 2770, making it a substantial vehicle.

For those seeking more power, the Huatai B11 offers two engine options: Huatai's own 2.0 diesel engine and a Mitsubishi-sourced 2.4 petrol engine (4G69).

Moving on to the Huatai Shengdafei 5 PHEV, this model has made its debut at the show as well. While it shares no similarities with the Huatai B11, it has been revealed that it is a clone of the Ford Taurus in China. The interior of the Huatai Shengdafei 5 PHEV has been unveiled, but details about its dimensions, wheelbase, or weight remain undisclosed.

The Huatai Shengdafei 5 PHEV, however, has an impressive 800-kilometer range, and the price is expected to start around 170,000 rmb.

Intriguingly, the Huatai Motor company has not been previously associated with the Beijing Auto Show 2010. The production status of the Huatai B11 is yet to be updated.

The engines for both the Huatai B11 and the Roewe 550 and 750 models are manufactured by the same company, SAIC Motor Corporation. The engine used in the new Huatai B11 is a testament to this partnership.

The Huatai Shengdafei 5 PHEV, despite being a clone of the Ford Taurus, offers a unique and impressive range for electric vehicles. The Huatai B11, on the other hand, with its multiple engine options, is set to cater to a wider audience with varying power and fuel preferences. Both models are sure to be exciting additions to the automotive landscape.
