Hyundai Brings Back N Line Model for the i20 Compact Car Lineup in 2024
In an exciting development, Hyundai has unveiled the updated i20 N Line for 2024, offering a blend of sporty aesthetics and fuel-efficient performance. The UK-based premium vehicle leasing company, part of a large, privately owned, Volkswagen and Audi dealership group, is now offering this model as part of their lease deals, aiming to inject dynamism into the lineup.
Under the hood, the i20 N Line boasts a 1.0-liter turbocharged T-GDi petrol engine, paired with a 48-volt mild hybrid system. This powertrain configuration delivers 100 PS (approximately 99 horsepower), offering a sporty yet economical drive. The transmission options include a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (7DCT) or a newly developed six-speed Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT), which allows for fuel-saving coasting modes by decoupling the engine from the transmission when off the accelerator.
The i20 N Line retains its previous front design, but with a fresh grille insert. The logo of the i20 N Line is now located above the grille, a departure from its previous placement within the grille. The sporty aesthetics of the i20 N Line have received a subtle refresh compared to the Advance, Premium, and Ultimate trims.
Inside, the i20 N Line boasts sport seats and aluminum pedals, ensuring a dynamic driving experience. The infotainment system is capable of receiving over-the-air updates, USB type-C ports, and a second-generation eCall system.
Hyundai has also introduced four new paint options for the i20 N Line: Lumen Grey Pearl, Meta Blue Pearl, Vibrant Blue Pearl, and Lucid Lime Metallic. Additionally, the 2024 refresh includes multi-colour ambient lighting and new LED interior lights.
Subscribing to the leasing offers newsletter allows customers to receive the latest deals directly to their inbox. The organization's contact information is available for a phone call or on the Special Offers page.
Unfortunately, the i20 N hot hatch is no longer available for new orders. However, the i20 supermini will have the sporty N Line trim added back in 2024.
The i20 had a facelift in 2023, but the N Line was not included at that time. The changes around the rear of the i20 N Line remain absent.
Hyundai's focus on combining spirited driving dynamics with improved fuel efficiency in the i20 N Line for 2024 reflects the company's commitment to delivering high-performance vehicles that are also environmentally friendly.
Technology advances in the automotive sector are evident with Hyundai's introduction of the updated i20 N Line for 2024, incorporating electric-vehicles technology in the form of a 48-volt mild hybrid system. This lifestyle change offers a blend of sporty aesthetics and car-maintenance efficiency, as the i20 N Line's powertrain configuration delivers a sporty yet economical drive. With the option for electric vehicles, Hyundai reaffirms its commitment to delivering high-performance vehicles that are also environmentally friendly.
