HVAC Specialist Role II - Technician Position

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI), a leading player in the North American power systems, rail transportation, and large visual display markets, is seeking a Field Service Technician II - IT Cooling. This role is based in Portland, OR.

The successful candidate will support and service high-performance IT Cooling products and electro-mechanical systems. The job involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing IT cooling systems, which are critical for data centers and other high-tech environments.

Responsibilities include working on HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) equipment, chillers, and cooling units to ensure optimal operation. The role may also require emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, system testing, and customer communication.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should hold an associate degree in HVAC, Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field, with 2-5 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems. EPA Section 608 Certification is a must.

Strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to read technical manuals, a customer-service orientation, and the capacity to work independently are essential.
