IGT PlaySports Expands into Mexico and Latin America with Caliente Partnership
IGT PlaySports, a leading provider of sports betting technology and services, is set to expand its footprint in Mexico and Latin America through a multi-year agreement with Caliente. This partnership will power 42 retail sportsbooks in Mexico and aim to expand to over 100 additional sportsbooks across eight Latin American countries.
The partnership with Caliente, one of the largest sports betting operators in the region, marks a significant milestone for IGT PlaySports. The phased rollout will extend IGT's retail sports betting platform and advisory services significantly throughout Mexico and Latin America, positioning Caliente as a key operator leveraging IGT's technology.
The agreement will establish Corporación Caliente as a leading sportsbook operator across nine countries in the region, enhancing its retail sports betting offering with IGT's reliable and versatile PlaySports platform. Caliente's sportsbooks will also gain access to IGT's Trading Advisory Services, which support optimized sports betting operations and player engagement.
