Holiday Tribe Secures INR 25 Crore in Pre-Series A Funding for AI-Driven Travel Expansion

Travel-tech firm Holiday Tribe has raised INR 25 crore in a Pre-Series A funding round, led by existing investors Powerhouse Ventures and GSF, with participation from other angel investors. The funding round included a mix of equity and debt and follows a INR 5.4 crore seed round in September 2024.

Since its last funding round, Holiday Tribe has recorded over threefold growth. The fresh capital will be primarily used to expand Holiday Tribe’s proprietary AI infrastructure to enhance real-time personalization, smarter itinerary optimization, demand qualification, and customer support. Alongside this, the company plans to strengthen its supplier network across more than 30 global destinations and invest in upgrading its mobile and desktop platforms to improve user experience.

Anshu Sharma and Chirag Goyal, Co-founders and Managing Partners of Holiday Tribe, stated that the funding is a strong vote of confidence in their vision and work. Kshitij Golwalkar, General Partner at Powerhouse Ventures, expressed a strong belief in Holiday Tribe's ability to scale, innovate, and lead the next phase of intelligent travel experiences. He also announced that Powerhouse Ventures has decided to double down on its investment in Holiday Tribe.

Holiday Tribe aims to leverage these AI capabilities and supplier expansions to offer more curated, flexible, and personalized leisure holiday experiences with a strong emphasis on Indian travelers. It has partnered with prominent tourism boards in locations such as Abu Dhabi, Mauritius, Dubai, Switzerland, and Singapore.

In terms of growth goals, the startup targets achieving an annualized gross merchandise value (GMV) of INR 500 crore within the next 18–24 months, positioning itself for significant scale in the travel-tech space.
