Hippo Appoints Data & AI Expert Robin Gordon as New Chief Data Officer
Hippo, a leading home insurance firm, has appointed data and AI expert Robin Gordon as its new Chief Data Officer. Gordon, who has held executive roles at global companies like Blackstone, KPMG, and CoreLogic, brings a wealth of experience in driving growth and AI adoption.
In her new role, Gordon will report directly to Hippo President and CEO, Rick McCathron. She is excited to join Hippo and advance innovation, strengthen risk management, and deliver lasting value for customers and stakeholders. Gordon will lead the strategic growth and evolution of Hippo's Data & Analytics function, enhancing the company's risk management capabilities through predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI.
Before joining Hippo, Gordon served as Chief Data Officer at the Kansas City Chiefs. Prior to this, she held senior positions at other companies, although specific details about these roles are not available. Notably, while at MetLife, she launched the company's first enterprise data strategy, supporting $65 billion in revenue across 60 countries.
