Gujarat Police introduces 50 personalized Honda CB350 motorcycles to its rapid response team.
In the bustling world of motorcycles, six models have been making waves: the Honda Grom, Honda CB350, Honda Hness CB350, Yezdi Motorcycles Roadster, VLF Mobster 180, Royal Enfield Classic 350, and Royal Enfield Meteor 350. Each of these motorcycles offers unique specifications that cater to diverse riding preferences.

The Honda CB350 and Hness CB350
The Honda CB350 and Hness CB350 share a 348 cc single-cylinder engine, producing 20.7 bhp and 29.5 Nm of peak torque for the Honda Grom, and 21.01 bhp and 30 Nm for the Hness CB350. Both models provide impressive mileage, with the Honda Grom offering 42.17 kmpl and the Hness CB350 boasting 45.8 kmpl.
The Honda Grom comes in the 'Mat Dune Brown' shade, featuring reflective stickering on the mudguard, a large visor, LED headlamp and indicators, and split seats. The Hness CB350, on the other hand, is priced slightly higher at approximately 2.10 Lakhs, compared to the Honda Grom's 2 Lakhs.
Both models are equipped with a 5-speed gearbox, telescopic forks at the front, twin shocks at the rear, and disc brakes at either end with dual-channel ABS for reliable braking. The Honda Grom also offers Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), a side stand cut-off function, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), and an assist and slipper clutch.
The Yezdi Motorcycles Roadster and VLF Mobster 180
The Yezdi Motorcycles Roadster and VLF Mobster 180 present contrasting characteristics. The Roadster, with its 334 cc engine, offers 29.06 kmpl mileage and a price tag of approximately 2.10 Lakhs. The Mobster 180, on the other hand, houses a 180 cc engine, can reach 110 kmph, and is priced at approximately 1.70 Lakhs.
The Royal Enfield Models
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Meteor 350 are two more models in this lineup. The Classic 350, with its 349 cc engine, can reach 120 kmph and is priced at approximately 1.93 Lakhs. The Meteor 350, meanwhile, boasts a 349.0 cc engine, provides 41.88 kmpl mileage, and is priced at approximately 2.06 Lakhs.
In an interesting development, the Honda Grom Quick Response Team bikes have been customised for the Maharashtra Police and the Pune Police, featuring revolving flashers and blinkers, a public announcement system, a siren and flashlight, side and rear storage panniers, and two Honda-branded safety helmets. These bikes will be maintained by the respective police forces through 2025.
