Google has officially announced that only four devices currently support Fast Pair for Google TV functionality

As of July 2025, Fast Pair, the feature that allows for easy pairing and quick switching of compatible headphones across Android devices, ChromeOS, and Google TV, is supported on only four specific Google TV devices.

These devices include the Chromecast with Google TV, Chromecast with Google TV (HD), Google TV Streamer, and Walmart Onn 4K Plus. Google has confirmed this limited rollout, meaning if you own any other Google TV device, Fast Pair is not available on it yet.

The initial announcement for Fast Pair on Google TV and Android TV was made in early 2022, with a promise of more devices gaining support. However, this promise never materialized, and the focus remains on increasing the number of Fast Pair-enabled Google TV devices.

The requirement for device makers to enable Fast Pair contributes to the seemingly slow rollout of the feature. In January 2024, Google re-announced the feature, initially stating it would only be available for Chromecast. It was not until February 2024 that the feature arrived for Chromecast.

It remains unclear if the partnership with TCL for Fast Pair support has been implemented. Google is actively working with partners to enable Fast Pair support on more devices, but there are no reports of other Google TV devices gaining Fast Pair support at this time.

The Fast Pair rollout for Google TV continues to be a topic of interest and discussion. Device makers can choose to enable Fast Pair on their devices, and Google has confirmed that these are the only four Google TV devices with Fast Pair support: Chromecast with Google TV, Chromecast with Google TV (HD), Google TV Streamer, and Walmart Onn 4K Plus.

In the realm of smart-home devices, the integration of Fast Pair is currently limited to a select few gadgets, specifically the Chromecast with Google TV, Chromecast with Google TV (HD), Google TV Streamer, and Walmart Onn 4K Plus. The ongoing emphasis on increasing Fast Pair-enabled technology within these Google TV devices continues, with no immediate plans to extend support to other devices at present.
