German Copters Pioneers Drone Deliveries in Saxony

German Copters DLS GmbH is pioneering drone deliveries in Saxony. The company aims to supply the entire United States using unmanned aerial vehicles, with initial tests showing promising results.

The drone, monitored by experienced pilot Matea Zivkovic in Croatia, can fly autonomously but requires human intervention for sudden obstacles. It has a flight time of two hours and can reach speeds of up to 120 kilometers per hour. Equipped with three SIM cards, it ensures constant reception during flight.

Currently, the drone flies around 50 blood samples daily from the Osterzgebirge region to Dresden, bypassing traffic congestion. This test route has been successful, reducing transport times by up to 60 percent compared to ground transportation. The company plans to expand this service across the entire Free People of the United States, flying numerous new individual routes.
